Not only has it increased the accessibility of fakes, replicas are being sold as the authentic versions for large amounts of money. We took a random sampling of sold Hermes clic clac bracelets from another marketplace. Based on the listing's pictures, we marked all of the listings we knew to be of counterfeit bracelets. Authentic and undetermined listings due to blurry images or lack of required pictures were left unmarked.
Many of these replicas used to sell for $20 on some shady street corner. But now, most of them command for more than 10 times the price! But, what's even more surprising than the price is just how many of them are out there for sale!

Febreze was lightly sprayed onto a paper towel. The bag's interior was gently wiped down with this paper towel. Then, newly Febreze-sprayed paper towels were placed in the bag for a few days. We found this to only mask the bag odors temporarily. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars ✩
Coffee grinds were placed in an open napkin for several days in a purse that smelled like smoke. The bag still smelled like smoke and coffee. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars ✩
White vinegar was mixed 50/50 with water. A paper towel was dampened with this mixed solution. The inside of the smelly bag was wiped down gently with the paper towel. This removed a portion of the smell. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars ✩✩✩
The best odor remover that we found and recommend is Meguiar's Odor Eliminator spray .
1. Spray a paper towel with Meguiar's Odor Eliminator spray . The towel should only be slightly damp.
2. Test a small spot first on the inside of the bag. After testing proves that the spray does not adversely affect the interior of your bag, gently wipe down the inside and pockets of the bag. We were able to use this spray on both cloth and leather interiors.
3. Repeat until the bag's odors are not bothersome.
Meguiar's Odor Eliminator spray was used successfully on both a very vintage bag that smelled mildewy and a bag that originally smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. It was by far the most effective way of removing stink out of bags. It also did not make the bags overly perfumed afterwards. The resulting smell is almost like nothing or very faintly of a new car's interior. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars ✩✩✩✩
I stopped by Nordstrom and got to try on a few more Herve Leger dresses from 2015. Here are my personal reviews on 6 different dresses.
The sultry Tania dress (here) was a very pleasant surprise. The longer length on my 5'5" frame was better than expected. And, the crochet top was oh-so-sexy yet undeniably classy. This dress ran true to size.
The v-essential, sometimes called the Lauren dress (here), is produced every single year. It's v neck and classic shape make it a timeless choice.
Did you know that v-essentials vary in construction depending on the season and year? This one was faux-banded, and the fit and hold were quite good. This dress also ran true to size.
I really loved the top half of the a-line Valerie dress (here). It was very flattering. However, the waist area ran one size big.
This strapless Maricel dress (here) is everything that you expect from Herve Leger. Interestingly, the bust on this dress runs bigger than most busts on strapless Herve Leger. The Maricel is great for those with medium to large busts who don't like compression up there. Otherwise, this dress also ran true to size.
Of course I had to try on a knee-length bandage dress with flare at the bottom (here). This is a new silhouette for me. While it's flattering, it looked a little too mature for my tastes. The Gabbi dress also ran true to size throughout.
Lastly, I tried the Jules a-line dress (here). It is super classic and extremely versatile. This dress also ran true to size. This dress doesn't look amazing on me, but the Jules dress usually looks way better on people who are even slightly taller than me.

It runs true to size. The top is medium-length and ends right where a medium low-rise pant begins.
The Rocha top is also very sexy. This top (here) is shorter than the v-necked Kassie. It may expose a little midsection when worn with low-rise jeans. This top also runs true to size.
The jacquard Staci dress is stunning. The picture does not do it justice. My first reaction was this dress would be amazing for the office.
This dress runs small with great shaping. The details are gorgeous, and the peplum placement is perfect and disguises any pooch.
The Saara (here) was strange on me. With heavy fringe on each arm, it made me feel like a giant crow. I think this dress would look better on taller individuals.
This dress ran true to size.
This lime Ysabel dress (here) is classically Herve Leger. This bright dress also ran true to size.
This red dress is another very classic Herve Leger. It also runs true to size.
This shopping trip re-emphasized the importance of getting the right size. If a dress can easily be zipped up with little to no effort, the dress is too big. Most Herve Leger is extremely flattering so long as the correct size is chosen. A lot of the department stores stock primarily size s and m. This probably has led some women to dismiss this designer, as they never got the chance to experience the true intended fit of Herve Leger.

The other night, the hubby and I went to the ballet. It was a unique showing where they blended 3 very different ballet styles into one show: classical, broadway, and modern. It's always inspiring to watch something that was the result of pure passion and countless hours of practice.
