Fake Chanel jewelry varies greatly. One of the most important authenticity inspection points is its stamp. ***While most Chanel jewelry have stamps, not all pieces have stamping.***
Here are a few examples of fake Chanel stamping for observation.
As you can see, the quality of the stamping greatly varies. Some fakes are definitely better than others.
When Lollipuff inspects for authenticity, we look at all features along with its stamping. For stamping, the font, time code in relation to the style, placement, shape, and thickness all must be scrutinized.
For more information, check out a more comprehensive guide on stamping here, and a step-by-step authentication of a Chanel brooch here.
One of the questions that we get: Are there vintage French Company Louis Vuitton fakes? Sadly, absolutely yes.
Fakes have been around for a very long time. Did you know that Louis Vuitton launched its signature Monogram canvas in 1896 to combat counterfeiting?
In case you may not be familiar with French Company Louis Vuitton... Here's a short introduction. Louis Vuitton was having a tough time dealing with incredible demand. As a result, from the mid 1970's to early 1990's, Louis Vuitton partnered with a US luggage company to create French Company Louis Vuitton bags. These bags were made and sold in the US.
On to the juicy bits. To prove our point. Here is an incredibly OBVIOUS fake French Company monogram Speedy handbag. Incorrect font, incorrect symbol details on the canvas, hardware details, etc, etc.
We hope that this was educational and interesting. Don't be deterred by French Company pieces though. Mistakes happen both ways. Authentic French Co pieces are frequently assumed as counterfeit, and we have heard from people who have scored some of these pieces for less than $10 at a thrift store!
If you're unsure of a handbag, don't forget Lollipuff's authentication service (here). 🙂 Happy hunting, everyone!
We've seen others post a few online examples of superfake Chanel bags. But, in reality, most of the bags that are being shown are not at all superfakes. Rather, they are extremely obvious counterfeits.
Over time, counterfeits have become more and more convincing, scaringly so. We're here to show you a detailed account of a couple TRUE examples of super fake bags.
Unfortunately, because counterfeiters learn from authenticators, we will not be able to enumerate or confirm the errors associated with these classic double flap bags. But, we assure you, these are counterfeit bags with quite a few errors throughout.

ÂNeedless to say, serial stickers are counterfeited very well on higher quality replicas now. For quite a while now, it is no longer a one stop area to check the authenticity of a bag.
Images do speak volumes and answer questions of what the state of fakes are. We hope that this was helpful. At the very least, we hope you found this interesting.
Many top consignment shops and re-sellers are our loveliest customers. These items are just a few of the authentication requests. Which are authentic, and which are counterfeit? Can you tell?

Since my last post, a tiny girl came into my life. She's claimed my soul. She could murder me, and my ghost would continue loving her.
Becoming a parent came with a number of surprises. Most surprising, I always thought I'd be the "French" mom, but oh no! My brain becomes scrambled and my heart pains at the slightest little grunt or yelp of discontent.
At this point, she may become a spoiled princess if I don't get my act together. This balance of tough and nurturing love is not as easy as it looks!
Babies are pure innocence. She knows nothing but burps, hunger, and discomfort. I hope that I don't mess her up, and we'll always be close.
P.S. I'm already dreading the days when she won't be a little cuddle bug. There is NOTHING as cozy as baby snuggles.
The last few months have been surreal, and so much of my thinking and future plans have transformed, not to mention my ensembles. Pregnancy is uncomfortable! These days, comfort and simplicity is everything.
In the last month, so much has happened. I finished a interior design project (more on this later). The baby inside of me is over 15 ounces now (about 5 months) and kicking and punching constantly, and she is on my brain just as often as she kicks. LOL. AND... we bought a house!
To say that our little bun in the oven has already changed the way that my hubby and I think and plan is a severe understatement.
On to lighter things... Nothing has made me go on a fashion diet more so than a baby! All I want is to be comfortable these days. Stow away the heels, heck even rigid maternity jeans. My favorite object (aside from our house) right now are these SIMPLE, BASICÂ H&M Mama maternity leggings. I have 2 pairs, and they are ABSOLUTELY necessary. They feel like you're wearing nothing, and all I got to do is pair it with a loose button-up blouse, some nice small heel or flat shoes, and a quality bag, and I'm ready for the world.
Plus, it's risky buying any investment pieces right now. Who knows if my shoe size or hip size will change after all of this. 😛
Anyway, the second trimester is far from perfect. I still have nausea in the morning, but it is significantly better. But, best of all and most importantly, I feel so close to this tiny little girl inside of me, more so than I could have ever imagined. She'll be here sooner than we'll realize; I just hope as many things as possible will be aligned when we finally lock eyes.
Today... it's not going to be about handbags, clothes or even beauty. It's about a pretty significant change...
More than 5 years since the birth of Lollipuff, my dear hubby and I are expecting the birth of our first human baby.
It seems like just yesterday when we found out, but it was 11 weeks ago! I had been a bit nauseated every morning, and aunt flow had not made her usual visit.
On a whim, we went to the store and purchased a couple pregnancy tests. Together, hubby and I nervously stared at the pee stick as it revealed its secret message. Wow! It was fast once we figured out a bubble was hindering the result. 2 dark, unmistakable pink lines. I was bewildered, and my high-school sweetheart was staring at me with the hugest smile on his face.
The first few months (I'm nearing 4 months now) were fairly rough. It was filled with serious morning sickness that worsened as the day progressed, and any liquids were difficult to drink. The exhaustion and sickness is real, and I have a serious new found respect for all the mamas out there.
Now, as we are nearing 4 months, the nausea is mild, and enjoyment and anticipation of our little daughter is constantly in my mind and heart. It's magical. How is she feeling in my tummy? Who will she be? Sweet and gentle, fearless and sassy?... whatever she will be, she will be our precious little being.
So, there you have it. Our special news is shared. Thank you for being part of my journey, a journey that has led to Lollipuff, and now to my first human baby. Wishing everyone contentment, LOVE, and happiness.
At Lollipuff, we're usually about the dresses, handbags and heels, but let's take a moment to look at the shocking issue with counterfeit sneakers. Fake sneakers is a huge deal and can be just as scary. Can you tell which is the fake and which is the authentic shoe? Check them out side-by-side.

It's kind of amazing how an outfit can improve so much with proper tucking and cuffing. Here are 4 essential, basic ways to cuff or tuck pants, tops and sleeves.
Button-Up Top Sleeve Cuff
Create 1 big cuff by making one big fold. Then, fold that big cuff in half to make the final smaller cuff. By folding this way, the cuff is more resistant to unrolling.
According to current fashion trends, the bottom of the cuff should rest just below the elbow.
Tee Sleeve Cuff
A loose short-sleeve t-shirt always seems to look better with its sleeves rolled a bit. However, I find that rolled sleeves have a tendency to unroll. For this reason, I usually add a few stitches to the rolled sleeves, since I'll never wear the t-shirt with the sleeves un-rolled.
Top Tuck
According to current fashion, just the front part of the bottom of the top should be tucked in with the sides down. A completely tucked in shirt can look a bit stuffy for casual wear, and uneven tucking actually has a leg-elongating effect. 🙂
Shortening Pants or Jeans by Proper Cuffing
There's a couple ways to roll your jeans. Here's the best way. Pull in excess fabric material inside, then pull it partially back out, exposing just the hem edge. Finally, fold the hem edge on top. Voila! A very clean-looking, shortened pant!
